2026 - 2027 Season
We welcome our new director, Larke Witten!
The Collage Vocal Ensemble is a select mixed chamber choir dedicated to performing compelling and challenging repertoire from a wide range of time periods and musical traditions. Founded in May, 2011, the Portola Valley-based group presents a mix of full-ensemble and small-ensemble works in its concerts, and donates all net proceeds to local charitable organizations.
In a world that can feel increasingly divided, what draws us back toward one another?
Music. Compassion. Belonging. Hope.
Join us for The Wellspring of Human Kindness, a choral concert celebrating the ways we care for one another - through friendship, compassion, forgiveness, courage, laughter, and love. Featuring music by Maurice Duruflé, Melissa Dunphy, Dolly Parton, Leonard Bernstein, Rosephanye Powell, Cole Porter, and more, this eclectic program moves between sacred music and poetry to contemporary choral works, folk song, and musical theater.
Come listen. Come reflect. Come laugh. And come be part of the wellspring of human kindness.

--------------------------------------------------------
For centuries, composers have tried to give voice to one of the most enduring - and elusive - of human experiences: love.
Desire, devotion, longing, heartbreak, joy, absence, and belonging unfold across this program, from the Renaissance to the present day.
With music spanning the centuries and weaving through genres, Love: It’s Complicated, sung by Collage Vocal Ensemble, explores the many ways we find, lose, and make sense of love.
